There’s no question that there is a fever for Japanese whisky, and while most people are familiar with Yamazaki and Nikka, there are more and more upstart distilleries beginning to make their way to the market every day. Enter Shinobu Distillery; this copper pot kettle distillate that blends itself with spirits from the Cooley Distillery in Ireland is bringing big flavors of mizunara oak and, in some cases, rice whisky. Devin Hawley joins us to chat about these spirits.
